Vital Ones,
To continue with the year’s theme of collaboration, I’m pleased to announce our collaboration with Steve Choe, who started a company called Zen Hemp and chose Vital Hemp clothing as the canvas for his art. We love his prints and hope you will too.
As they’re not yet on the site, if you want a piece, you can call the store. If we don’t have the printed style you want on-hand, but do have it as a blank, Steve has access to a printer and can print one of his designs on-demand especially for you!
We have some new designs from our first collab- artist, Marc Zimmerman, aka “Dhude.” The world of surfing inspires his fine, original art, and we’re very happy he chose Vital Hemp as a vessel to carry his artwork to the people. Also available are a limited edition of framed artist proofs of his work. If interested, come in, or give us a ring at 310.450.2260.
If you’re an artist, musician or own a company and would like your designs on our shirts, let us know, please. We love to collaborate with others who love and promote hemp!
Pics of wonderseed
As art on hemp soothes the soul, the new products from The Wonder Seed soothe the body. I met Theresa Ruiz-Hellings, the owner of the company last year at The Green Festival, and traded a shirt for some shampoo. I used it up and loved it so much, I ordered some (and conditioner and body wash) for the store. So if you want to include hemp oil as part of cleaning/nourishing your skin, please check out their products at our store.
As a thank you for your support over the years, and to make money for some new styles we’re producing, we’d like to offer you 20% off, plus free shipping on orders over $99 for any Vital Hemp products on the website or in the store. Just use the code Vital20, or mention it when you come in to receive your discount. We have new size runs of 100% hemp men’s anywhere pants and soft hemp knit V-neck t-shirts, as well as a range of other styles, so use the code while it lasts!!!!
Enjoy the rest of the summer, and remember: hemp lets your skin breathe…
As ever, thanks for being vital,
Ron Alcalay
